Our Misson
To focus on the environmental fate and behaviour and adverse effects of Emerging contaminants (ECs) in the environment. To develop methodologies for their monitoring and assessment, and finally measure the exposure effects and ecotoxicological risks in aquatic organisms and human beings. To contribute to local, national and international communities through research on toxicants and public health concerns. To contribute to growing concern in the global community and health impacts by climate change like Hazard gas emission, Industrialization and Ocean acidifications. To focus on biodegradation pathways using microbes for the degradation of ECs and to ensure a safe removal of the pollutants.

Aquatic Toxicology
Understanding the toxicological properties and ecological impacts of chemicals in the environment is essential for assessing risks and developing appropriate management strategies. Research focuses on investigating the effects of pollutants on living organisms, ecosystems, and the interactions between different species. This includes studying the mechanisms of toxicity, bioaccumulation, biomagnification, and ecological responses to chemical stressors.
Climate Change & Environmental Concern
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperature patterns and weather conditions, primarily caused by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes. These activities release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, trapping heat and leading to global warming.
Environmental Pollution Impact & Public Health
Environmental pollution has a significant impact on public health. Exposure to various pollutants in the air, water, and soil can lead to a range of health problems, both acute and chronic.
Environmental Remedition
Environmental remediation refers to the process of addressing and mitigating the impacts of pollution or contamination on the environment. It involves the cleanup, restoration, and rehabilitation of affected ecosystems and natural resources.
